Career-Based Learning Experiences

Learn on-the-job from experts in their fields.  Gain work experience, learn more something that interests you and add to your resume. Childcare Assistant Career-Based Learning Experience

Gain hands on experience working with kids in our After School Program 2 days a week. 

Opportunities for all 9th-12th graders. 

Flexible schedules available Monday - Friday 2:00 - 6:00 pm

 IT Career-Based Learning Experience

Gain hands on experience working with computers.  Learn diagnosis skills, how to install software and how to rebuild a computer.

                                               Opportunities for all 9th-12th graders.

Bike Exchange Career-Based Learning Experience 

Gain hands on experience repairing & refurbishing bicycles.  Learn bike mechanics & maintenance.

Opportunities for all 9th- 12th graders.

  • Mentoring Program

    Get paired with an adult mentor.

    Receive career guidance, information about scholarships, coaching in public speaking, writing help & more...

    Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 pm

    Available to all 9th-12th graders.

  • Youth of the Year

    A national program, teens with outstanding leadership, service and academic execellence are encouraged to participate in the Youth of the Year competition.  With help of mentors, candidates work to strengthen writing and public speaking skills. One student will earn a scholarship to be used for college and move on to the state wide competition.  Click here for more info
